On our last trip to north central I told Wolfy she does a good job of protecting me and how she was bred to protect the sheep from the tiger and the bear.
I told her she is smarter than the Amur Tiger of Russia.
The night before two pick up trucks stopped on the logging road across the gulch from us at dusk. Wolfy picked up their scent and saw them. They were an eighth of a mile away.
Their was no logical reason they should have stopped there except they had a direct line of sight for shooting us.
Wolfy and I took cover.
The drones were no help. They probably directed them to our location and their ambush location.
They knew they had been spotted.
