Flee Babylon

Years ago when Ninja - my pure black female German Shepherd prior to Wolfy, and I were restoring Captain Edwards crash site in the Mohave Desert to holy ground again, we became friends with the man who patrols the California aqueduct, which takes water to Los Angeles from the northern mountains of California.
He was a Christian and one day he told me he was thinking of leaving California and the United States because we were such a Godless nation and how the Bible says to flee Babylon. He truly believed the United States had become as Godless as Babylon.
I now also believe the same as him and if I was a better Christian I would flee the United States, although every day I think about it and am making plans for this.

Here is what the Bible says:

  Jeremiah 51: 6  Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and
deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in
her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord's
vengeance, he will render unto her a recom-
pence.

  Jeremiah 51: 45  My people, go ye out of the midst of her,
and deliver ye every man his soul from the
fierce anger of the Lord.
