The next night my Christian Christmas display was destroyed again and more of the fence.
I left it the way it was and put my large Nativity Scene on the top of the destruction along with a large sign which said HATE CRIME.
Christmas day I went to Tiger Mountain with my dog and hiked the trails.
When I came back I noticed the sign was turned around. I looked closer and thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.
The fence and all the damage was repaired. The vertical posts had even been placed in concrete and leveled and the horizontal rails had been tightened up and put into their notches more securely. The large Nativity Scene was placed on a secure rock foundation as was the miniature church and miniature Nativity Scene. All the candy canes were hung from the fence again and all the broken pieces disposed of.
I don't know how many of my neighbors were involved in this or who they were but they made heaven right here on earth Christmas day and were truly responsible for a Christmas Miracle.
The next few days I planted numerous colorful flowers and reversed the sign
which now said THANK YOU.
