Last week the red control van showed up on the ridge again and I could get a picture of it and a yellow blur indicating a high temperature for a laser strike.
We immediately left to go in on foot to where they were:

if someone comes to kill you.
    rise up and kill him first.

The map I was using was inaccurate and we didn't find them.
Next time we will know exactly where they are.

When we got back to our camp they were no longer on the facing ridge.
Their assassination attempt was unsuccessful.
