Wolfy and I attempted to climb the north face of Washington's beautiful Diamond Head, aptly named after Hawaii's beautiful Diamond Head.
We aborted the climb only twenty vertical feet from the top due to the steepness, being off route, the possibility of dehydration and exhaustion and being past our turnaround time.
The most successful climbs can often be the climbs you didn't reach the summit but arrived home safely.
We made a movie of the climb which shows the beauty of God's creation and how close we were to the mountaintop.
