God's word is relevant for today:
".they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge." Jeremiah 4:22
"...ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein." Jeremiah 7:16
" And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the Lord." Jeremiah 9:3
"O Lord, are not thine eyes upon the truth?..." Jeremiah 5: 3
