Don Winslow starts his new book "The Cartel" with the following:

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?  Revelation 13:4

I prefer:

...If any man worship the beast and his image... The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation: and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone ... And the smoke of their torment ascending up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, ...Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.  Revelation 14:9-12
