He started his book by quoting Revelation 13:4.
I wrote I prefer Revelation 14:9-12.
I believe this was one of my best posts.
My boy disagreed with his Father and quoted 2 Peter 3:16: "... speaking about these things as he does in all his letters. However some things in them are hard to understand, and these things the ignorant and unstable are twisting, as they do also the rest of the scriptures, to their own destruction."
I saw my boy a short time ago and explained how the government will use a persons own family to destroy a person. I told him the government used his words as the key justification for their actions against me.
He had forgotten about his comment but when he read it this is what he wrote me:
"Sorry I posted that, took it down."

Where Was Mike?
For years there was a large luxury yacht moored at the Poulsbo Marina in Poulsbo, Washington.
The owner was a wealthy Seattle businessman.
Every weekend he would have drug and alcohol parties with underage girls on his yacht.
Just like with Jeffrey Epstein everyone knew the above and did nothing.
A friend of mine who lived on his sailboat told me two of the underage girls at a party on his yacht fell overboard and drowned. One of the girls bodies washed up on the shore in downtown Poulsbo.
This is when my ministry worked to keep young girls safe from this "Jeffrey Epstein".
Despite tremendous persecution my ministry prevailed:
The Poulsbo Police Chief was fired.
The Marina Manager was fired.
The luxury yacht was evicted.
The City of Poulsbo made it a major goal to fight the drug scourge in their town.
Where was Mike?
United States Attorney Mike Moran I believe was the head criminal prosecutor for Kitsap County where Poulsbo is located and did nothing to stop these violations of the law.
Ironically I went to court to expose all of the above and the Assistant Kitsap County Prosecutor thanked me in front of the judge for what my ministry was doing for justice.
The judge even said my allegations about the corruption in Poulsbo could very well be true.
USA Mike Moran needs to be removed from office and fired for his inaction in stopping the "Jeffrey Epstein" of Poulsbo just like the former USA in the Jeffrey Epstein case was removed as Secretary of Labor by President Trump.
All of the above was some time ago and it is the best of my recollection but I believe accurate

Boycott Editor Katie Ives and Alpinist Magazine
Next to not promoting mountain safety, censorship by a mountaineering magazine, not keeping your word, and a lack of honesty are serious problems for a mountaineering magazine deserving of a boycott. Especially when the censorship involves a spiritual statement by a mountaineer as famous as Jim Whitaker.
Editor Katie Ives censored my print and online article by refusing to end my article in last summers edition of Alpinist Magazine with my quote from Jim Whitakers book: A Life on The Edge.
She claimed she sent him a email and he denied saying the following quote.
After an extensive search of my archives I found my original notes with his exact quote:
"All mountains are the temple of God and are places which destroy sin."
After his exact quote I wrote Buddhists A Life On The Edge Page 52.
I will be advising Jim Whitaker of this post.
Just as serious as the above, Editor Katie Ives, the digital editor, and the picture editor, were all aware of the importance of not cropping the beautiful Ponderosa Pine and the key role the Ponderosa Pine was to my article.
All three broke their promises to me and cropped the beautiful Ponderosa Pine.

Boycott Editor Katie Ives and Alpinist Magazine
Since Alpinist Magazine likes beautiful mountain pictures my next safety submission included beautiful pictures of Washington's Mount Stewart.
I submitted numerous pictures of Mount Stewart in all its various moods for Editor Katie Ives and the art director to choose from.
At the bottom of the picture they would select I proposed having the name and date of the climber who had just lost his life on the mountain.
For the text I proposed:
Alpinists carry a long list of friends they have lost on mountains.
When I climb I look at mountains and think of all the climbers who have died needlessly because they weren't climbing safely and following the Mountaineers Code.
Sadly I never received any reply from Editor Katie Ives or the art director.
I am requesting everyone at Alpinist read this post and consider it a mountain safety submission again and be professional and reply.

Boycott Editor Katie Ives and Alpinist Magazine
The following safety article was submitted to Editor Katie Ives for publication and she told me Letters was full. She never mentioned my submission again.
I would like to quote from Alpinist 62:
"The duty to stay safe for the sake of others and the right to take our own risks with our own lives."
"Other people have written better..., about the joy and the risk and the ethics of pushing limits. I've pondered the moral dilemmas of climbing."
"We should still play in the mountains. We should still risk our lives in them, if we decide it's worth it under careful consideration."
All these quotes assume climbing is dangerous and you can loose your life.
We need to stop thinking like this which results in climbing being dangerous.
We need to climb as if climbing is a safe pursuit and you don't need to ever be involved in an accident or loose your life.
With the ever increasing frequency of climbing deaths and accidents we need to start thinking that climbing can be a safe pursuit.
Is this really possible?
Fred Becky showed it was.
One of my best friends climbed with Becky for over twenty years and went on to put in new routes as hard or harder than Becky with never an accident.
My other friend who put in new routes with Becky never had an accident.
My friends are in their seventies now and still climbing safely.
I've also climbed my entire life without an accident and my Father climbed till he was ninety three years old, a few months before he died, without an accident.
How do you do this?
Follow the Mountaineers Code and Jim Whitakers advice:
"I have told many people, including my sons, 'If you want to climb mountains, read Mountaineering: The Freedom of the Hills. Then read it again so you know, how to get down.'"
The following two quotes are from Freedom Chapter 22 titled SAFETY: HOW TO STAY SAFE:
As an Alpinist who carries a long list of dead friends and partners, I approach the mountains differently than most. I go to them intending to survive, which I define as a success. A new route or the summit is a bonus.

Reaching the summit is optional. Getting down is mandatory.

Persecution Continues
